Our Story

How We got Started

Growing up north of Cascade, Iowa, Jake McAllister always knew he wanted to farm. With a father and both grandfathers involved in the ag sector, Jake involved himself in all things farm-related from riding in tractors during crop season to helping care for hogs. As the years went on, the family farms were sold, but Jake knew he would one day return to that field of work.

In 2008, an acquaintance from a neighboring community gave Jake an opportunity to work for his local manure injection business, giving Jake his shot at getting back into agriculture. “I started with one drag-hose system and learned as much as I could,” Jake shared, and with that, Midwest Injection, Inc. was founded.

The early days of MII were spent networking with farmers to help them in their biosolid management and wastewater systems: “I went door-to- door, putting in the hours to learn what my customers needed and then provided the best service I could,” Jake shares.”

In the decade since it was founded, Midwest Injection has grown from an operation with humble beginnings to a business equipped and experienced to travel cross-country with a fleet of tanks, tractors, trucks, trailers, drag hoses, and agitators. In addition, the company has recently taken that same hard-working mentality and reputation of success into residential septic-systems management and porta potty rentals to further accommodate the wastewater management needs of Eastern Iowa, Southwestern Wisconsin and Western Illinois.

No matter your need, MII wants to be your link to nutrient management success. Contact us today to get in contact with one of our representatives and start planning for your project needs.
